Haha George,
I dont think I will get the chance. I am in Singapore week 1. Back to Tokyo for my first meeting with my future in laws (her dad's got a morbid fascination with katanas

, but i guess all dads are the same especially when she is the youngest in the family and the only girl, I sure can pick'em) in the second week, back to Singapore week 3, fly to India week 4 for a friend's wedding. I am gonna need a shrink, a whole lot of whiskey and praying won't be a bad thing.
But still it will never take my Christmas Spirit.

never...
the cool weather and Xmas go together along with all the memories. My first Xmas was in a Brunei where my family is from. My grandfather wanted me to feel like I belonged in Australia(I was moving there) so he read up on Xmas stories at the local library. He decorated the house with chinese festival lights and hung decorations on a coconut tree (Xmas trees arent all that common in the tropics), but my favourite all time memory of it was we couldnt figure out why guys hung the stockings on the fireplace.
We had an old fashion gas stove top but fire hazard and gas is no good so he nailed our old gym sock on the walls. Its hilarious. But its the thought that counts. Thats the christmas spirit.
Merry Christmas to everybody. Where ever you may be.
Simon
