I have noticed that when the price breaks through the Kumo that the upper and lower outline colors do not initially turn to the opposite color on the upper margin immediately. Wait for the upper edge of the Kumo to confirm the breakout up or down by changing to the opposite color. It takes patience and you cannot win them all. This applies to intra day charts. I am not sure about daily etc.
