Hi guys
I have never seen any service like ZuluTrade and I think it is terribly smart indeed.
From what I understand they allow you to choose among a list of systems that make trades for you. i also read that they use FXDD, FXCM, i-TradeFX, AVAFX and FOREX.com
I opened a demo account and i started with $50 000 last wednesday ( 25 march 2009 ) and today ( 01 april 2009 ) i have $53,270.good result till now.
I don't have to study or monitor the market to make a good pick, because they have well-known experts from all over the world are doing it for me. All I have to do is pick the experts i like, and Zulu trade will quickly convert their advice into live trades in my trading account directly with the broker. And the best of all, it's completely FREE!*
If you wish to test their system out, you may visit their website.

problem with zulu is that there are so many different traders that a few will eventually have great results at any one time. also they don't seem to like to close trades because that affects their statistics. I lost some money on zulu after being in profit. go very slow or if it were me, not at all!!

Hello,
Remember, when you give your money to someone else to manage anything can happen. THey can have a big winner streak but it all can go away in 1 bad month.

wow these posts are from 2009. I was trying to read some posts about zulutrade but many things have changed till 2009. I write in case someone wants to discuss with me the new feature they have added recently regarding searching Signal Providers. Want to compare the filter I give in the search with other users in order to see what works better. Hope this post will be replied...

Hello,
Believe it or not, the Signal providers are almost still the same. In order to really judge a system, you have to see the results for the last 10 years. This captures all the different situations that the market has gone through.

Oh this is not a good idea! I don't want to wait years to make money. Regarding my Zulu Sps I first test them on my demo and only if I am satisfied with their results I consider of adding them in live account.

ten year back test ... don't think is possible 10 years ago Zulutrade may existed only in mind of its creator. Should I add Sps in different demos? Think I have saw this tip somewhere but what for? Just in order to separate their results and settings?

So you adjust your EA in MT4s charts and take the back test? Does this back test ensures you the same results in the future or is just an indicator of possible profits? In zulutrade I can only test a sp since the time he has started trading with zulu. (trading weeks of a sp is also a criterion we can set in their advanced search feature)

Hello,
I don't use MT4 for back testing. I use a combination of Tradestaton and Forex Back Tester.
Results for back test do not guarantee the same outcome in live mode for a couple of reasons. Here are some: 1. Slippage 2. A lot of back tests are done with 1 minute data compared to tick data. A lot of platforms will provide 6 to 9 months of tick data but not much more. If you want to get tick data for 10 years,,,you are going to be paying a lot of money for it. Also, when you purchase the tick data, you have to make sure they have "scrubbed" the data for back ticks. Bad ticks are taken out depending on how the data provider has "clean it". You have to evaluate the entire process. Based on your investigation, you can assume how your real time results may vary. 3. Gaps during trade entries will cause variations of entry price between historical and real time.
Back testing offers the following: 1. Helps the trader can confidence in their trading plan. 2. Helps the trader see areas of weakness they may have in the trading plan 3. Offer a high probability of success because if your trading plan was successful in the past, there is a high probability it will get CLOSE to the same results in the future. In trading there are no guarantee, only probabilities.
I hope that helps...
