Head fake breakout

I am new in this forum.

I have a question about a head fake breakout.
How do we know in advance that breakout will be a head fake ?

Is it agreeing or a small part of a bigger picture.

I haven't decided if just getting out, a closed out, two closed out or after a breakout wait for a test of support.

I find a break out works but demands a wide stop. A false break out can be expensive.

In general watch for tests of support before the breakout.

What platform you using?  There are tons of indicators people have developed for metatrader.

We have one on my website but it is a subscription.
